Pedaling for the Future in Pottstown

Families Behind the Badge Children's Foundation was proud to sponsor the inaugural Pedal for the Future event at Montgomery County Community College (MCCC) Pottstown Campus on Saturday, April 18th.

FBBCF, with the aid and support of the Montgomery County District Attorney's "Wheels of Justice" riding team, acquired bicycles, helmets, and locks for 22 local students in the Pottstown School District as part of our Police Youth Alliance program.

Each student was presented with a bike and paired with a first responder. Together, they learned bicycle safety and maintenance, and enjoyed a 5 mile bike ride on the Schuylkill River Trail.

Immediately following the ride, students and first responders enjoyed a bountiful luncheon at MCCC and attended the MCCC Community Fair.

It was a powerful day of connection, safety, and smiles—we’re honored to be part of it!
