PHILADELPHIA, PA - February 23rd was a special day for some of our beneficiary families, thanks to the generosity and kindness of Garnet Hathaway and the Philadelphia Flyers Charities. They hosted some of our families at the Flyers Carnival, creating a day filled with joy, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
For those unfamiliar with the Flyers Carnival, it is an annual event that brings the Philadelphia community together for a day of fun, games, and connection with their favorite Flyers players. This year was even more meaningful for us as we saw firsthand the impact that generosity and community support can have on the families of first responders. Seeing the smiles on the faces of children and parents alike as they enjoyed the festivities was a reminder of how much these moments matter.
We extend our deepest gratitude to Garnet Hathaway, not only for his role in making this day possible but also for his unwavering commitment to supporting our mission through his Hath’s Heroes program. His dedication to honoring first responders and their families is truly inspiring, and his continued efforts help ensure that their sacrifices are never forgotten. Whether it’s through events like the Flyers Carnival or other initiatives under Hath’s Heroes, Garnet continually finds ways to give back to those who serve and protect our communities.
